Frequently asked questions
Does a local check verify that a mailbox exists?
No. Local checks inspect format and a limited ruleset. A live provider can supply mailbox evidence; even that does not guarantee inbox placement.
Are the product names registered trademarks?
This site uses the requested ™ branding. It does not represent that a trademark registration or clearance search has been completed.
Are MailTester’s articles reproduced here?
No. MailMaid Academy contains original guides on related topics. Third-party copy, ratings and testimonials are not reused.
What happens to uploaded files?
The local cleaner processes CSV and XLSX files in browser memory. It does not upload or persist them. A live verification action explicitly submits selected addresses to the configured account service and verification provider.
How are live reports stored?
The implemented account service encrypts live report payloads and limits access to their owner. Deployment requires the verification migration and the existing account service. Reports can be deleted in Engine.
Can I verify a million rows here?
This release limits local files to 2 MB and 10,000 data rows. Live batches have a smaller server limit shown in Engine. Large asynchronous processing is not implemented.
Does cleaning prove that I can send marketing?
No. Verification does not establish permission, replace unsubscribe handling or override a suppression list.
Will catch-all addresses always be deliverable?
No. A server may accept all recipients initially while rejecting or discarding mail later. Keep uncertain results separate.
Are monitoring, seed testing and email finding active?
Their branded product pages and implementation requirements are included. Live seed mailboxes, blocklist monitoring and email discovery still need service integrations.
What does the suite cost?
The existing Engine price and MailFlow add-on remain unchanged. Verification-provider usage is separate. MailMaid verification credit packs have not been launched.
Do integrations clean lists in both directions?
Not yet. Existing account adapters are listed separately from planned verified-list synchronization.
Does MailMaid guarantee inbox placement?
No. Authentication, sender history, recipient engagement, message content and mailbox-provider decisions all affect delivery.
Our editorial approach
MailMaid Academy publishes original copy for this project. We separate technical definitions from product availability, retain uncertainty in diagnostics, and link to primary references where useful. The MailTester comparison and product catalog informed the coverage map; their articles, customer stories and performance claims were not republished.
